“Miss Cynthia creates excellent children’s etiquette events here at the Club. Her small class sizes allow for personalized attention to each child. Parents just rave about her teaching skills and how much information they retain. Miss Cynthia has quickly become a part of our Club Events Calendar.”
— Mrs. Amy Beardsley-Comerer, Clubhouse Manager, The Country Club of Rochester
Our Youth Etiquette programs are for children ages 5-17. They all focus on the principles of common courtesy and basic social etiquette, however, they also include age specific lessons and coaching, such as bullying for ages 7-12, and university interview for teens, to name a few.
Our etiquette content covers a vast array of topics, so we select content specific to the season; in the fall we cover table setting, dining, expressing thanks, and gift giving, and in the spring we cover the protocol of public places, being a thoughtful host and gracious house guest, and attending social events.
We believe learning takes place beyond the classroom, and recognize the importance of real world application. Some of our programs include a dining tutorial.
Our program packages:
- Basic 4-week Class and Afternoon Tea
- Advanced 4-hour Class includes 4-Course dining tutorial
Our program packages for teens:
- Basic 4-hour Class
- Advanced 4-hour Class
- University Dining Interview, includes a 4-Course Lunch
- Spring Social Season Preparation 90-Minutes: Prom and Graduation
