Etiquette is not only about manners! It is also about being a prepared, refined professional. Our Finishing Touches curriculum includes four modules that focus on social etiquette, and a dining tutorial. These modules assist in developing social competence which leads to success. Inappropriate attire, misspoken words, weak introductions or social faux pas may cost you an opportunity or future invitation. Classes held at The Century Club of Rochester.
Module 1: Personal Image and Dress Code
The image we project tells others how we are to be treated. Our attire indicates our social competence. In this one-hour module, learn how to create a powerful image and dress for every social occasion.
Module 2: Timeless Correspondence
From quills in ink, to fountain pens, to electric typewriters, to the keys on a computer, the manner in which we communicate is not what it once was. In this ninety-minute module, learn to write a handwritten invitation, and thank you letter in a language that will leave a lasting impression.
Module 3: Entertaining and Being Entertained
